Dr. Digman joined Accent Physicians in 2015.
Dr. Colleen Digman graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine in May of 2000. Thereafter, she completed a residency in adult internal medicine, as well as a fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at New England Medical Center-Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Upon completion of her training in 2005, she became dual board certified and served as a staff physician Endocrinologist in different urban and rural practice settings until 2010. Between 2010-2015, she was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Florida. In this capacity, she held leadership positions in oversight of the adult endocrine clinics, served as clinical liaison to the cystic fibrosis multidisciplinary team, and organized a patient focused insulin pump and diabetes education clinic. These efforts lead to being recognized as an outstanding teacher and patient advocate. She joined the team at Accent Physician Specialists in 2015.
Dr. Digman’s areas of clinical interest lie in adult diabetes, thyroid disorders, parathyroid disease, and general endocrinology. Dr. Digman is a member of the Endocrine Society, American College of Endocrinology, American Diabetes Association and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE).
