Dr. Tanvisha Mody was raised in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Staying in state after graduating high school, she attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from N.C. State in 2011 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences-Human Biology and a minor in Genetics. After graduating, she attended the American University of Antigua, College of Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude with an M.D. in 2015.
After medical school, she completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Hahnemann University Hospital with Drexel College of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Mody completed her Endocrinology Fellowship and served as the Chief Fellow at Westchester Medical Center with New York Medical College.
Dr. Mody’s interests include benign and malignant thyroid disorders, FNA biopsy of thyroid nodules, parathyroid/calcium disorders, and Diabetes management. She also treats patients with pituitary disorders, adrenal disorders, and both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. Her goal is to provide patients with individualized, compassionate, state-of the-art care. Dr. Mody is Board Certified in Internal Medicine (2019) and Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism (2021).
Dr. Mody lives in Gainesville with her husband and son. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.
